Plymouth Argyle have signed Guadeloupe-born defender Stephane Zubar on an initial one-month rolling contract until he gets international clearance.The 23-year-old was on trial at Argyle during pre-season and appeared for the club in a friendly against QPR. [LNB]Plymouth boss Peter Reid said: "He is a right full-back, who can play in a few other positions. [LNB]He's a strong boy and he impressed me in the summer, but we couldn't do the deal then," added Reid. [LNB]Zubar played for SC Vaslui in Romania last season, having begun his career with SM Caen in France. [LNB]The defender, whose brother Ronald plays for Wolves, has also had spells on loan at Pau FC and FC Brussels. [LNB]Meanwhile, Reid has denied newspaper reports that Argyle made a bid for Rotherham striker Adam Le Fondre.
