No new striker for Reid
Plymouth boss Peter Reid has revealed he is unlikely to add a new striker to his squad before Saturday's clash at Colchester.
Reid had hoped to add some extra firepower to his ranks when the transfer window for loan signings opened this week, but the former England midfielder realises he will probably have to be patient.
When asked if there was any chance of bringing a striker in this week, Reid told the club's official website: "It's going to be difficult.
"I've been trying, the window opened again this week and I've made enquiries and got a few irons in the fire. I just hope it comes to fruition."
