The Pilgrims recovered from a goal down at Oakwell on Saturday to claim their first away victory since they beat Cardiff on Boxing Day.[LNB]Despite the triumph, Argyle remain second from bottom and six points from safety - but Mariner has backed his Pilgrims side to survive.[LNB]Mariner said: "The players did it. I've been banging on that we have got a tremendous team spirit and when you've got that, you have a chance.[LNB]"This team has got to believe in itself. I believe we have a chance to get out of this.[LNB]"It was a very good performance and I think the best performance under me."[LNB]Barnsley opened the scoring a minute before the break through Hugo Colace.[LNB]However, Carl Fletcher equalised before Jamie Mackie and Rory Fallon ensured all three points went south.[LNB]Barnsley boss Mark Robins accused his Tykes side of capitulating after being on top in the first half.[LNB]He said: "The second-half performance was a complete contrast to the first half. We think that once we've got in front we think it's easy.[LNB]"In the second half, it was capitulation. We had some decent chances and we didn't take them.[LNB]"They got a goal out of nothing and we just dropped backwards and backwards and it got difficult to get passing. But we must not overreact.[LNB]"We've got to make sure we come back and make sure we are ready for the next match.[LNB]"We have got a lot of games left. We have had a lot games but that's no excuse but we've got to be better than that."[LNB]The Tykes went ahead when Carl Dickinson's cross from the left found an unmarked Colace at the edge of the area for his sixth goal of the season.[LNB]His first-time shot dipped and bounced past Stockdale into the net.[LNB]Argyle were denied an equaliser five minutes after the restart when Mackie's cross from the right found an unmarked Fallon in the six yard box, but Barnsley keeper Luke Steele managed to punch the striker's header clear.[LNB]The visitors equalised in the 63rd minute when a cross from the right fell to skipper Fletcher and his shot from the edge of the area flew into the net giving Steele no chance for his first goal of the season.[LNB]Three minutes later, Damien Johnson's first-time shot from rattled the home bar.[LNB]Argyle took the lead in the 73rd minute when substitute Yannick Bolasie's corner was flicked on by Fallon to Mackie, whose header rocketed into the net.[LNB]Former Barnsley player Fallon got the visitors' third eight minutes from time when his speculative shot from 35 yards gave Steele no chance.[LNB][LNB]
