Four defeats in five games have left the Pilgrims nine points adrift of safety but Mariner, along with assistant manager John Carver, reckons another season in the Championship can be achieved.[LNB]Ahead of Saturday's league match at Barnsley, Mariner said: "We've got 18 games left, 54 points, and when you've got a group of players like we have rallying around the badge, John and I couldn't wish for anything else.[LNB]"We've got 18 games left and every single game is a cup final. Every single game is a tough game.[LNB]"Tough games come around and tough people will rise to the occasion. We've got people who will rise to the occasion so whether it's Barnsley, Swansea, Leicester, whoever it is coming up, it's going to be a tough game but a tough game for them also.[LNB]"We'll keep doing what we're doing. If anybody is watching our games closely and they think we're not in games, then they're watching a different game to me. We will play the game the way it's supposed to be played. We will play the games competitively and just to repeat myself again, the lads are in great spirit."[LNB][LNB]
