Argyle gifted Leicester a 31st minute lead when central defender Kari Arnason turned Jack Hobbs' clearance down the right past his own keeper, David Stockdale.[LNB]The home side responded when recalled left winger Craig Noone started and finished a superb 38th minute move by glancing a header into the far corner from Chris Clark's pinpoint right wing cross.[LNB]Mariner said: "The most important thing to me is the response. We have gone three games on the bounce where we have gone a goal down and come back to get something out of the game.[LNB]"I think Leicester gave us a couple of scares but I thought we were on front foot for most of the game and staged a grandstand finish, hitting the bar and having one just the wrong side of the post and another cleared off the line.[LNB]"We gave away a poor goal. I don't really want to dwell on that but I think it's the response that we have to talk about and some sparkling performances by the players."[LNB]Leicester manager Nigel Pearson said: "It's a hard-earned point. Fair play to Plymouth because they are fighting for their lives and put us under a lot of pressure in the second half.[LNB]"I didn't expect them to give us an easy time. They want to keep their Championship status.[LNB]" It's not an easy place to come to and the pitch is a bit of a leveller.[LNB]"I think we created more chances than them and tried very hard to play on it - but it's difficult. Having said that I thought we played some pretty good stuff at times but they work tremendously hard and put you under pressure and what pleased me towards the end of the game was the way in which we showed a lot of resilience."[LNB]City left winger Lloyd Dyer had hit the post before the goals with an angled drive and striker Martyn Waghorn fired just wide at the start of the second half, when Paul Gallagher also had a shot blocked by Argyle left-back Chris Barker.[LNB]Plymouth sent on teenage substitute Joe Mason and he headed just past the post in the 64th minute.[LNB]City countered with defender Bruno Berner heading wide from Gallagher's cross and six yards on 74 minutes.[LNB]Mason then rattled the City bar with a dipping 20 yard volley - which Foxes keeper Chris Weale finger tipped - before Hobbs' made a brilliant off the line headed clearance to deny home skipper Carl Fletcher as he let fly from just outside the box after Chris Weale saved from Kenny Cooper.[LNB]In stoppage time substitute Cooper and Damien Johnson combined to tee up Jamie Mackie, who missed from six yards.[LNB][LNB]
