Mackie relishing new Argyle role
Mackie scored in the 1-1 draw at Preston on Tuesday night and is now looking forward to Saturday's home Championship game against Derby.[LNB]Sturrock - a Scotland international forward in his playing days - said: "Jamie has shown he is willing, a great runner and he's a handful.[LNB]"I'm saying, and the last two centre-backs he has played against will agree with me - he definitely puts himself about."[LNB]Mackie has been used as an out-and-out striker for the games against Ipswich and Preston. He has previously been deployed on the wing by Sturrock.[LNB][LNB]
