Lowry loan return unlikely - Mariner
The 20-year-old defender recently completed a three-month loan spell at Home Park and made 13 appearances for the Championship strugglers.[LNB]Mariner was keen to bring the Australian back to the club and asked Villa about the possibility of a new deal.[LNB]However, with Villa currently competing on three fronts, Mariner accepts Lowry is unlikely to return to the Devon club in the near future.[LNB]"We have had some communication with Villa, and they have a lot of games coming up," Mariner told The Herald.[LNB]"We have been told they are really not looking to let people go out (on loan). That's quite understandable." [LNB]Meanwhile, Mariner is set to take a look at nine unnamed trialists when Argyle meet Fulham in a behind-closed-doors game at Motspur Park on Tuesday.[LNB][LNB]
