The Australian began his three-month loan spell from Aston Villa in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Newcastle, but he is far from downbeat.
Next up for Argyle - and Lowry - is next Sunday's televised home game against Nottingham Forest.
The 20-year-old said: "Once we got back in the game at 1-1 I thought we had a fighting chance but then they got another quick goal.
"We put in a great deal of effort. You can't fault us for effort and we had some chances.
"We have to keep a positive attitude and hopefully results will turn around soon."
