Fletcher reveals wage woe

Plymouth captain Carl Fletcher has revealed the players have still not been paid their wages for January. The financially-stricken club were promised cash from Japanese-based directors Yasuaki Kagami and George Synan but there has been no sign of it arriving, and the players have still not received payment more than a week after it was due. Fletcher told The Herald: "I'm sure a lot of us haven't been in this position before and it's very tough. "It's your livelihood at the end of the day. It's the roof over your head. "It's difficult for everyone and, obviously, the results on the pitch aren't taking away any of the troubles off it. "We have got to get through it together and, hopefully, things can be resolved sooner rather than later."
