Duo slammed by Reid

Shamed Plymouth pair Bondz N'Gala and Kari Arnason were blasted by manager Peter Reid after receiving straight red cards in the first half of their 4-2 loss at Oldham. Bonez N'Gala was sent off for hauling down Oumare Tounkara. Dale Stephens scored the resulting penalty, but Craig Moone levelled and Bradley Wright-Phillips added a superb second. Kari Arnason was shown a red card before Tounkara, Jean-Yves M'Voto and Dean Kelly sealed Oldham's comeback win. Reid raged: "The other lads did fantastic to stay level until injury time but the two who got sent off cost us the points. They got what they deserved by making stupid and ridiculous decisions and it was a total lack of discipline. "Kari Arnason was absolutely stupid to lead with his elbow. He gave the referee no option. I have no complaints about the ref, it's just a real shame that we conceded twice in injury time and could not hold on. "I am gutted but what happened at the end was understandable because there were tired legs and tired minds. There were a lot of good performances but we have to keep 11 men on the field to give ourselves a better chance."
