Duo missing for Pilgrims

Plymouth will be without Chris Clark and Jim Paterson for the trip to Leyton Orient. Midfielder Clark has suffered a knock in training and will miss out, while Paterson has bronchitis to further dent manager Peter Reid's depleted squad. However, their losses pave the way for Joe Mason and Rory Fallon, who have been suffering from groin and ankle injuries respectively, to claim starting berths. Onismor Bhasera was recently ruled out for nine months, while the game comes too soon for Luke Summerfield (knee). The Pilgrims problems have forced Reid to call youngsters Jake Baker and Jed Harper-Penman into the first-team squad, and both could feature. The former Sunderland boss is confident his side can claim the points at Brisbane Road, saying: "It's going to be a difficult game. Russell Slade has done a terrific job but we go there in the right frame of mind because we know we've got to win games."
