Donnelly poised for loan switch
The 21-year-old former Skelmersdale striker is back to fitness and in need of games following a pre-season hamstring injury.
Sturrock said: "I really need to get George some games. If he doesn't go out on loan then he will play for the reserves at Exeter on Tuesday."
A proposed loan deal to send Donnelly to a League Two club has fallen through.
