Cooper excited by Argyle challenge

Cooper has signed until the end of the season and Argyle have an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.[LNB]The former FC Dallas man admits he jumped at the chance to work alongside head coach Paul Mariner and his assistant John Carver.[LNB]"When I knew Paul and John were interested, I was excited and I'm obviously familiar with both of them from the MLS," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"Through my experiences with the national team, I've had the opportunity to meet some of Paul's players and they were a great reflection on him.[LNB]"I think that this is a good fit for me. It's nice to feel wanted and to come somewhere you feel the coaches are familiar with you. I'm excited about the opportunity to play here."[LNB][LNB]
