Capaldi training with Plymouth

Plymouth have confirmed Tony Capaldi is training with the club following his release from Cardiff. The Northern Ireland international, who spent time on loan with Leeds last season, is no stranger to the Pilgrims having played for the club between 2003 to 2007. The left-back, who made over 150 appearances for Argyle, could again become a permanent fixture at Home Park if he impresses manager Peter Reid over the coming weeks. Elsewhere, on-trial midfielder Anton Peterlin is closing in on a a permanent move to the club according to the player's agent. Barry McLean, who represents the former Everton man, told MLSsoccer.com: "Something is happening with Anton. There's a good chance he will sign with Plymouth. We are trying to work it out."
