Boss keen to extend Arnason's stay

The Iceland international can play both defence and in the midfield, and Mariner is keen to keep him on board at Home Park.[LNB]Mariner told the club's official website: "We're attending to it [the contract] now.[LNB]"Since Paul [Sturrock] put him back to playing central defence, we have worked with him on the coaching side.[LNB]"He has responded well and he really likes that position.[LNB]"He can still obviously play in midfield but he has done a fantastic job back there."[LNB][LNB]
