Argyle snap up Hoops' Sheridan
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international joins Paul Sturrock's squad ahead of Saturday's opening home game against Queens Park Rangers.
Sheridan scored two league goals in 14 games for Motherwell at the end of last season.
An official club spokesman said: "The deal is subject to the formality of international clearance."
