Argyle followed up a 2-1 win at fellow strugglers Peterborough by beating Scunthorpe 2-1 at home ahead of their October 17 trip to Blackpool. Sturrock said: "I am pleased for the boys because they have been working hard. "I've been frustrated because I've known this team can win football games but we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. "I don't mind losing games to the creativity of the other team. What I do mind is that a lot of goals we let in have been Plymouth-made but the boys have battled hard over the last two games. You can't ask any more from them and I'm very pleased for them."
