Argyle chief: No Pilgrims rift

Kagami joined the Argyle board last year and talks with the Japanese tycoon and his business partner George Synan over a transfer of power have been ongoing for several months. Stapleton told the Herald: "When George came over we had dinner a couple of times and went to (manager) Paul Sturrock's house and had a chat. "We have got a good relationship with George and Mr Kagami. Mr Kagami obviously hasn't been here that much, but he's a very nice person and when he comes over we get on very well. "I have seen George a lot of times. The only problem with him at the minute is he has never seen us win yet, so I think he may be banned! "The one difficulty at times is the time difference between here and Japan. That hasn't helped. But the relationship is very good and there is no acrimony or bitterness."
