Argyle boss waits on defender

The defender was all set to play in Tuesday night's Carling Cup clash at Gillingham but woke up on the day of travel to find the injury was too bad to make the trip. It is unclear whether he will be available for Saturday's visit of QPR, while midfielder Carl Fletcher is also in a race against time after missing the 2-1 defeat to the Gills with a dead leg. Sturrock told the club's official website: "Timar was injured and didn't travel, he has rolled his ankle. We all thought it was just a niggling knock but when he got up for the day we were to travel it was far worse than we expected. "Fletcher, a key player, was also missing. He is a (missing) ingredient that shows when he isn't pulling the strings. "If Timar and Fletcher hadn't dropped out then the team would have been identical (to last Saturday against Crystal Palace)."
