Peterhead desperate for home comforts
Fifth-placed Peterhead will be without Ryan McCann after he picked up an ankle injury in training as they host Annan looking for a third successive victory in their bid for a Third Division play-off spot.
Knee injuries continue to keep Callum Macdonald and Davie Ross out, with Blue Toon manager Jim McInally looking for his men to improve on a disappointing run of home results.
McInally said: "Peterhead are traditionally strong at home and struggle away and we started the season like that. However it has been different recently and we have not won at home in 2013 but won our last two away games.
"Hopefully we can put that right but we have to be wary as Annan's last away game was at Ibrox and they beat Rangers there."
Annan have recalled striker Andrew Donley from his loan spell at St Cuthbert's to bolster their ranks as manager Jim Chapman faces a shortage of bodies.
The Galabank men travel without the injured Stephen Sloan (hip), David Murray (calf) and Lewis Hawke (ankle) while Iain Chisholm also misses out due to illness.
Daniel Orsi has also returned to Queen of the South at the end of his loan spell.
Chapman said: "Peterhead have been on a good run and we are five bodies light so it will be a tough test but we stood up to a tough test at Rangers.
"I faced Peterhead in my first game in charge so it will be interesting to see how what progress we have made in the subsequent cycle of games."
