Peterhead prepare to party

Peterhead will be presented with their League Two trophy after they have played Stirling and Bryan Gilfillan is available to play a part in the contest after serving a suspension.

Top scorer Rory McAllister is expected to have a place on the bench despite having several stitches inserted into a shin gash, however Callum MacDonald remains out due to a knee injury.

Manager Jim McInally said: "Rory will feature at some stage even though he is not totally fit as he deserves his place on the park.

"We showed against Albion Rovers that we are still up for winning games and that bodes well for a tough Stirling challenge."

Stirling have Jamie Bishop available after suspension but Ross McGeachie is a doubt due to injury.

Manager Grieg McDonald is not interested in the possible scenarios should his play-off chasing side win, lose or draw.

He said: "I have not worked out the permutations as the way I have been looking at things is that we just need to win.

"Peterhead will not want their party to fall flat and they will be determined to put on a show so we have to be determined enough to match that. We went to Annan and won recently so we are confident that we can do the same at Balmoor."
