Richardson back for Peterhead

Peterhead have Dean Richardson available after a lengthy lay-off for their clash with title rivals Clyde.

A head injury has kept the defender sidelined since November but he has been given the all-clear to return to action.

Callum MacDonald (knee), David Cox (foot) and Dean Cowie all remain out, however, as leaders Peterhead aim to extend their advantage over third-placed Clyde.

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally said: "Clyde are a very good side this season and they are probably better away from home than they are at home. They are well organised and have been in the top four all season on merit and not luck.

"We will have to play well to win and create a 10-point gap on them."

Clyde have included new signing Ross McKinnon in their squad for the trip to Balmoor.

Fit-again strike duo Stef McCluskey and Kevin Watt are also available to manager Jim Duffy but he goes into the game without Nik Rajovic (shoulder) and Ryan MacBeth (illness).

"We are facing another team on form after facing Annan, East Stirling and Berwick Rangers who were on good runs," Duffy said. "We rose to those challenges well and I am sure we will rise to the challenge of Peterhead well.

"We played well there earlier this season and a repeat of that performance would be good."
