Simon Ferry set for Peterhead debut

Peterhead include Simon Ferry in their squad for the visit of bottom side Brechin City after a deal was agreed for the former Dundee midfielder to join the Blue Toon this week.

Jordan Brown misses out due to a hamstring injury and Ally Gilchrist is struggling with a knock with Balmoor manager Jim McInally hoping that his side finally get what they deserve.

McInally said: "We have not won in our last three games which is surprising as we have played well in every one of them. The players have deserved better and hopefully they will get that against a Brechin side that will turn the corner this season."

Glebe Park defender Ross Perry misses out with an ankle injury however player-manager Darren Dods has Paul McLean and Dene Shields available after injury.

Dods has delayed naming his side as Darren McCormack and Andy Jackson are both doubts with the Brechin boss looking to finally break his duck as he explained: "We have seen progress in every game and also now have the strongest squad we have had for weeks. What we have to do now is turn that progress into points.

"We played really well against Forfar last weekend however we never scored when we were on top. Hopefully we can do that against Peterhead."
