One in, three out for Peterhead
Peterhead signed Dundee United defender Ross Smith on the eve of their clash with Annan but they are again without the injured Callum MacDonald (knee), Dean Richardson (head) and David Cox (foot).
Manager Jim McInally said: "I have been looking for a centre-half to boost our squad for a while now and we know Ross well from a loan spell here and he is included on Saturday.
"We beat Queen's Park last week but it was a poor game and I am looking for an improvement in our performance. Moving 10 points ahead of Annan would be a great position at the end of this game."
Annan have also boosted their pool ahead of kick-off at Balmoor with former Queen of the South midfielder Dan Orsi coming on board.
Iain Chisholm and Chris Jardine return after injury but the Galabank men are without the injured David Hopkirk (foot) and Kenny Mackay (groin) as well as the banned Peter Watson.
Manager Jim Chapman said: "We are still hurting after being denied a win in injury-time at Stirling Albion after losing a goal straight after Peter was dismissed.
"Peterhead away is a really difficult game in this division but we will go up there and look for the three points."
