Ferry's out for Peterhead
Peterhead will have Simon Ferry missing with an ankle injury when they host Albion Rovers, with Scott Ferries also absent after he joined East Stirling on loan for a month.
Balmoor manager Jim McInally said: "We are in good form just now and deserved a draw with the leaders Dunfermline last weekend.
"Albion Rovers are a really well organised side, who are strong away from home, so it will be tough to get our first win of the season over them.
"This game gives us a chance to open up a good lead over them in the race for a play-off place but it will not be achieved easily."
Albion Rovers will be without injured strikers Andrew Barrowman (hip) and John Gemmell (ankle) with Coatbridge player/manager Darren Young fearing further absentees as Paul Willis, Josh Mullin and Zander More are all rated as extremely doubtful.
Paul Archibald has been added with Young set to return to the starting line-up after three months out.
The Cliftonhill manager said: "Peterhead away is a tough game with a full strength team and it is a tougher game when you are a few bodies down.
"We have done well against them already this season however in the circumstances winning this game would top anything else we have."
