Redman strikes late to sink Elgin
James Redman struck in injury time as leaders Peterhead came from behind to beat Elgin 2-1.
Elgin captain David Niven gave his side a dream start when his powerful right-footed strike flew into the roof of the net after 13 minutes.
Peterhead responded positively and went close through Redman and Ryan McCann but the visitors went into half-time in the box seat.
Graeme Smith saved Shane Sutherland's strike and pushed a Paul Harkins effort wide as City threatened to double their lead at the start of the second half.
Those stops proved crucial as Peterhead got back on level terms in the 63rd minute courtesy of Graeme Sharp's deflected shot before Redman stole all three points from close range.
