Positive week for Peterhead
Peterhead completed a fabulous week with a 2-1 win at home to Dunfermline.
After a five-goal salvo in the cup, Tuesday's hero Rory McAllister was at it again, converting a penalty on the half hour after a foul by Josh Falkingham on Nicky Riley.
Dunfermline, however, had racked up three cup goals themselves and showed their pedigree when Michael Moffat rose to head home a speculative long pass from Joe Cardle. The equaliser came handily on the stroke of half-time.
The match was at times a fractious affair and referee Craig Charleston had to get out his yellow card on no less than six occasions. Leighton McIntosh injected some late quality, heading in an 89th-minute winner from a cross by Andrew Rodgers.
