That's Moore like it

Daniel Moore scored the only goal of the game as Elgin edged past Peterhead 1-0 to boost their play-off hopes.

The visitors got off to a flying start when Moore put them ahead in stunning fashion with a fine strike from 20 yards after nine minutes.

They could have been further ahead moments later but Paul Millar failed to direct his header after a dangerous cross from Craig Gunn.

The Blue Toon tried to rally through Andrew Rodgers but he could only hit his shot straight at Joe Malin with 30 minutes gone.

Millar went a little closer soon after the break but his stinging volley was well saved by Peterhead stopper Graeme Smith.

Defender Ross Smith came close to an equaliser in the closing stages but couldn not direct his header on target as City held on for all three points.
