Wall secures Posh return

Defender Stuart Wall is aiming to secure a regular first-team place after rejoining Peterborough United on a one-year contract.

The youngster was snapped up by Coventry City when Posh opted to close their Academy three years ago, but was released at the end of last season having failed to make the step up to the first team from the Under-19 squad and reserves at the Ricoh Arena.

New Posh boss Keith Alexander offered him a trial at London Road during pre-season and was impressed enough to hand him a 12-month contract.

Wall told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have finally sorted a deal out with the club. It has been a horrible summer for me without a club and I can now concentrate on my football.

"I suppose I have completed a full circle moving back 'home' after a spell with Coventry."
