Peterborough United striker Craig Mackail-Smith has agreed a new four-and-a-half year contract with the club.
The 24-year-old forward has found the net 11 times this season for the League Two promotion-chasers and will now remain at London Road until summer 2012.
Mackail-Smith has scored 26 goals in 46 appearances since joining Posh from then non-league Dagenham Redbridge in January 2007.
"I am having a great time at Peterborough and I am really pleased to be able to commit my future for four-and-a-half years," he told the club's official website.
"Everyone is enjoying their football at the moment and the club has big ambitions that I want to be a part of.
"I believe I can realise my ambitions with Posh."
