Rendell rejoins Cambridge

Peterborough United have allowed striker Scott Rendell to rejoin Cambridge United.

The 22-year-old, who only moved from the Abbey Stadium to The Posh in February, will remain with the Blue Square Premier League side until New Year's Day.

Rendell has just returned to London Road from a loan spell at Yeovil Town where he made six appearances.

He has started only five games for Darren Ferguson's side during his time with the club.

The former Aldershot Town, Forest Green Rovers and Crawley Town forward found the net 23 times in 36 appearances for Cambridge last season.
