Posh trio going nowhere
23 Jan 2009 - 15:06:05
Peterborough United's director of football Barry Fry has insisted that there has been no interest from Celtic in some of his players.
Newspaper reports claim that Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan is interested in taking George Boyd, Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith to Parkhead.
"I haven't had a conversation with Gordon about anyone. I have had a conversation with a Scottish journalist who asked me what their valuations would be if we received an enquiry," Fry told the Evening Telegraph.
Fry had earlier told the Daily Record: "If Gordon thinks we are trying to price him out of the market then he's absolutely correct. We are not interested in selling.
"When anyone comes on to speak to me about them, I quote £5million each.
"We are going for back-to-back promotions and can't afford to do without these players."
