Posh to tie up Torres deal

Peterborough United have agreed a deal to sign Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Sergio Torres.

The 24-year-old Argentinan will officially move to London Road on Monday, if he passes a medical.

Torres, who made 98 appearances during his three-year stay at Adams Park, told Wycombe's official website: "It was a very hard decision to make.

"I'm sad to leave because I've had three unbelievable years at Wycombe and every single person I know at the club has been so nice to me.

"But on the other hand, I'm happy because it's what I wanted to do ever since I came to this country - to play at the highest level possible."
