Peterborough United have signed Luton Town defender Sol Davis on a two-month loan deal.

The 28-year-old left-back has yet to feature for the Hatters this term, having battled back into first-team contention after suffering a stroke last October as the team travelled to a clash with Ipswich Town.

Davis told the Posh's official club website: "Kevin Blackwell came in and told me about Peterborough's interest and I was keen to get some games under my belt, because I am not getting any matches at Luton.

"It has been an eventful few years at Luton both on and off the field and the new manager has come in and made a few changes.

"I am not involved at the minute, but I still have a year left on my contract at Kenilworth Road."
