Posh seal Rendell capture

Peterborough United have completed the permanent signing of striker Scott Rendell.

The 21-year-old joined the promoted League Two side on loan from Cambridge United in February and has now penned a full-time deal at London Road.

Rendell, who had found the net 21 times for the U's before his move, added a further three goals to his tally in League Two.

Meanwhile, midfielder Charlie Lee has agreed a new four-year contract in principle with the club.

"We spoke to Charlie about a new four-year deal and it has been agreed in principle," director of football Barry Fry told the club's official website.

"It is just a case of sitting him down and getting him to sign the documents. I don't see there being any problem at all."
