Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson continues to ring the changes at London Road with Kettering Town striker Rene Howe his latest acquisition.
The 20-year-old former Bedford Town frontman has agreed a four-year contract with The Posh and Ferguson is looking forward to working with the player on the club's pre-season training camp in Marbella.
"He's a lad we've looked at a couple of times," Ferguson told the club's official website.
"He gives us something different, he's big and strong and can play as a targetman.
"He's young and isn't the finished article yet, but he's someone we can work and be patient with.
"One or two other clubs were in for him, but I had a good chat with him and we're looking forward to working together. He's out here in Marbella with us and it will be a good chance for him to bond with the rest of our squad."
Howe was Kettering's top scorer last season, finding the net on 20 occasions in only 38 games for the Poppies.
