Posh loan switch suits Reid

West Brom striker Reuben Reid has joined Championship rivals Peterborough United on a three-month loan arrangement.

The 21-year-old is keen to show his worth at London Road after being restricted to just two starts for the Baggies this season following his summer switch from Rotherham United.

Reid said: "It's been quite frustrating not playing, but I knew when I moved to West Brom that they were a strong squad and that I might have to be patient.

"But, like all footballers, I want to play regularly so I'm looking forward to showing what I can do at Peterborough.

"I play with plenty of power and pace and I'm confident I can make the step up and make an impact. Even when it looks like I'm having a quiet game, I often produce something good."
