Posh have injury problems

Peterborough United boss Mark Cooper has several injury concerns ahead of Tuesday night's Championship clash against Preston North End at London Road. Captain George Boyd has suffered ankle and knee injuries and he is rated as highly doubtful for the important clash. The problems were sustained in the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. Defenders Exodus Geohaghon (hamstring) and Gabriel Zakuani (groin) have already been ruled out while Craig Morgan is suspended. Speaking to the club's official website, Cooper said: "We have a lot of injuries to key personnel, but we won't be using that as an excuse. "George would obviously be a massive blow because he is the captain and is the top scorer. 'We are looking for players to step up to the plate and I do have one or two options."
