Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson is looking forward to working with Scott Rendell after confirming that the Cambridge United striker had agreed a three-month loan switch to London Road.
The 21-year-old, who has scored 23 goals in 36 appearances for the U's this season following last summer's switch to the Abbey Stadium from Crawley Town, is expected to make the transfer permanent at the end of the current campaign.
Ferguson told the club's official website: "The arrival of Scott means I now have four strikers at my disposal again and that's important.
"Rene Howe and Danny Crow are out on loan until the end of the season so it boosts my options in attack.
"He's different to what we have. He's a good size, but he's very good technically and of course he's scored a lot of goals. He'll get hold of the ball and is a very good footballer."
