Peterborough United have snapped up Norwich City goalkeeper Joe Lewis for a club record transfer fee of £400,000.
The 20-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with the promotion-chasing Posh, whose manager Darren Ferguson is delighted with his latest capture.
He told the club's official website: "I feel that you don't get too many opportunities to make signings like this and I'm delighted to sign such a highly-rated goalkeeper.
"Joe was outstanding in the two matches against us and he has tremendous potential.
"He has great height and presence and I believe he's one of the better goalkeepers in the league. I also feel we've signed one of the most promising goalkeepers in the country."
Lewis failed to make a first-team appearance for the Canaries but played in 23 games for Morecambe during a loan spell at Christie Park in the first half of this season.
