Gannon: Attacking quality was the difference
Published : 10 Feb 2010 12:59:30

Recently appointed Peterborough manager Jim Gannon had no complaints after seeing his side go down 2-0 at Cardiff. The Bluebirds were thrashed 5-1 by Newcastle last time out but bounced back courtesy of goals from Chris Burke and Anthony Gerrard either side of half-time.Both teams were not helped by a poor pitch that Cardiff boss Dave Jones admitted was below par.But Gannon, taking charge of his second game after Saturday`s debut win over QPR, admitted: "We never showed enough drive or quality to win the game and the difference between the sides was the speed and movement of their front players."I am not expecting a dramatic turnaround at the club and it is going to be a long hard slog but at least I want the players to have the experience of being in this division."
