Ferguson vows to stay

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson insists he has no intention of leaving London Road before end of his four-year contract. The former Wrexham star has been linked with the vacant manager's job at Burnley, but has every intention of seeing out his Posh deal. Ferguson told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "I haven't heard anything from Burnley and to be honest I wouldn't expect to. "Someone mentioned over the weekend that something had been in the paper, but I wasn't that interested. "I've only been a manager for nine months and I'm very happy working at Posh. I've been given a great opportunity here and it's a job I want to see through. "My only concern is getting Posh promoted. That's all I think about and concentrate on and newspaper speculation isn't going to change that."
