Ferguson: Posh need a win

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has underlined the importance of quickly achieving a first win in the Championship for his newly-promoted side. Ferguson saw his side lost 2-1 away at Derby County last weekend, though they saw off League One side Wycombe 4-0 in the Carling Cup in midweek. This Saturday, the Posh host Sheffield Wednesday and Ferguson is hoping that the momentum from their League cup first round victory can be continued. "It's important to get that first win under our belt," admitted Ferguson. He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We certainly don't want to be known as a good footballing team that gets beaten every week. "I'm a big believer that if we get the performances, we'll get the results. "I'm disappointed we didn't get anything a Derby, but with the Wycombe win it's a better start than last season."
