Fergie happy with Posh show

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson declared himself content with the team's performance in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Tranmere.

Posh came from behind thanks to a Craig Mackail-Smith goal to secure a valuable point as the club chased down MK Dons and Leicester in the League One table.

"I thought we deserved a point from the game and we created enough chances to have won the game," Ferguson told the official club website.

"Tranmere is a very difficult place to come. They have an excellent home record and we knew that we would be in for a tough evening, but I thought we played some good football at times."
