Peterborough United have been busy in the transfer market on the first day of the January window with the signing of Stevenage Borough winger George Boyd their headline signing.
Boyd, who moves to London Road on January 8, has signed a deal that will keep him at the Posh until June 2011.
Peterborough's director of football Barry Fry told the club's official website: "George is extremely highly-rated and has been extremely sought after.
"We're delighted to secure his services and have beaten many clubs from higher divisions. He's an exciting prospect."
Meanwhile, Dean Holden has completed a switch to Falkirk and Hartlepool midfielder Gavin Strachan has arrived at London Road on a one-month loan deal.
Striker Aaron McLean has signed a three-a-half-year deal with Keith Alexander's side after initially joining the club from Grays Athletic on loan, while MK Dons defender Craig Morgan has agreed a deal that will keep him at the Posh until June 2009 following his successful loan spell with the club.
