Basey extends Peterborough deal

Peterborough United have secured the services of defender Grant Basey until the summer of 2012.The 22-year-old, who signed an initial six-month deal in January, marked his Posh debut with a goal in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Yeovil. He joined after a successful trial at London Road, following his release by League Two side Barnet. The former Charlton man is in line to start Saturday's League One clash with Tranmere Rovers.
