The 20-year-old had agreed a deal to sign for Roy Hodgson's side from non-leaguers Hampton and Richmond only to find himself at the League One side after the Cottagers pulled out.[LNB]He said: 'I was set to sign for Fulham. I'd met the players and the manager and I was going to play for their reserves one afternoon when they just pulled out of the deal in the morning.[LNB]"I was devastated, but 30 minutes later Peterborough came in and I was all excited again. I just want to be a professional footballer and I am probably better off at this club as they have an amazing record of developing players from the non-league.[LNB]"I don't know what went wrong at Fulham. I didn't fail a medical, but it's probably turned out for the best.[LNB]"It will be a challenge getting into the first team because the forwards score so many goals here, but I'm a confident man and I'll give it a real go."[LNB][LNB]
