Tomlin back for Posh

Peterborough forward Lee Tomlin should return to the squad for the visit of Exeter. The former Rushden & Diamonds man signed an extended contract at London Road this week and could come back in after missing last week's 5-0 win at Oldham through illness. However, he may struggle to claim his place back in the starting XI after stand-in David Ball marked his first start for the club with a goal at Boundary Park. Midfielder Lee Frecklington underwent a hernia operation at the start of the week and will be sidelined for at least a month while new signing Paul Taylor will not feature. The striker penned an 18-month contract this week but is not match fit and will not be considered for the time being. Central defender Gabriel Zakuani has recovered from a shoulder injury, though striker Dave Hibbert is absent as he steps up his comeback from a dislocated knee suffered back in November.
