Simpson happy to stay with Shrimpers
Peterborough midfielder Josh Simpson is keen to extend his loan spell with League Two side Southend.
Simpson has been told he has no future at London Road and has impressed for the Shrimpers, scoring an excellent goal in the recent win over Torquay.
He said: "I would definitely like to stay for longer because I am really enjoying it here.
"It is still too early to know exactly what might happen as it's only been five or six weeks but at the moment I just want to keep playing and putting in good performances.
"Come November or December time we will have to see where my future lies."
