Rowe delighted by switch to Posh
The 20-year-old winger moved to London Road on Tuesday for an undisclosed fee and is confident Posh boss Darren Ferguson can have a positive impact on his career.
"I am well aware that Darren Ferguson is a very talented manager and I know that he will help me improve me game," Rowe told Peterborough's official website.
"For me Peterborough is definitely the right club to be at and I am looking forward to the challenge of Championship football. It is an exciting time but I feel I am ready to make the step up.
"I enjoyed it in League One last season and it was great to get so many games under my belt. I am still a young player and the Peterborough squad is full of young, hungry players so I am sure we will do well next season.
"I spoke to the manager, we just spoke about football, that is all and that is what I am all about, I just want to play. The gaffer spoke very passionately about the club, where he wants this club to go and I am excited to be part of it."
